According to history books the real name of queen of Chittorgarh is Padmini Singhal .
She was the daughter of Raja Gandharvesen and Rani champawati.
She had a parrot named Hiramani to whome she loved more then her life .
Padmani was very beautiful and when she grew up ; her beauty quates began to be around.
Raja gandharvasen organised a 'Swamber' of the princes inviting all the kings of that time.
In the Swamber two king were considered to be strong contenders to win Padmini for her better life and those are Makhan singh and king of Chittorgarh Raval Ratan Singh .
Makhan singh was considersed strong despite of being a king of small emperor.
Raja Raval Ratan Singh defeated Makhan singh and married Padmini .
He was a great lover of art and also had a great singer Raghav Chetan in his kingdom who not only loved singing but also used to practice black magic.
One day the king cought him red handed and exposed him . The king showed his true colours to the public.
Now he was forced to sit on a donkey having his face blacked and made to go around the whole empire or state.
Being hurt by this insult he went to the jungle where he met Allauddin Khilji of Delhi who came in the jungle for hunting .
He wanted to take the revenge of the insult Raja Raval Ratan had given him therefore he after giveing a soft tune of his flute which was influence by black magic Sultan Allauddin Khilji was hipnotised and called him .
Now he praised the beauty of Rani Padmawati to him .
Now Allauddin Khilji went to Raja Ratan Singh and asked him if he could see his wife calling her his sister . He then double crossed Raja Ratan Singh and made him his prisoner .
When Rani Padmavati came to know this she commanded her soldiers to fight till the end and she with all the women of the palace created a deathbed of fire and along with other women died .
