What are Hiccups?

Diaphragm inhales and exhales air . Most of the the time it run uninterrupted but sometime when its get irritated due to any reason, it jerks out a sudden gush of air into your throat causing your vocal cords to close thereby causing a hiccups .

What causes Hiccups?

There are hell lots of things that can irritate the diaphragm causing hiccups which include 
1-side effects of some medicine 
2-laughing too hard 
3-drinking carbonated drinks
4-heavy meals
5-allergies to certain food.
